Former IRA Member Testifies in Deportation Case

"A former IRA militant fighting deportation after 25 years in the United States detailed on Thursday his legendary escape from a Northern Ireland prison and underground entry into this country with the help of sympathizers on both sides of the Atlantic," the AP reported Thursday.

The AP reported from Raymondville (just north of Harlingen & Brownsville) earlier this week that Pol Brennan was arrested with an expired work permit in South Texas in January.
